Stock up on sunscreen and dig out the beach towels. Spring break is busting out all over Florida this month. College students from the East Coast and Midwest have begun their annual coastal invasion while Palm Beach County public school students are off from Friday, March 18 until Monday, March 28.

Whether you’re staycationing or visiting, there are plenty of options to fill sunny days (although we Floridians may require wet suits for frigid ocean temperatures still in the low 70s).

Here are the best beaches, waterfront bars and things to do in Palm Beach County for Spring Break 2016:

A few weeks ago we wrote about why we love the beach so much. And we polled our readers on which beach in Palm Beach County was their favorite. With 283 votes out of 540, Lake Worth Municipal Beach won!

It’s no wonder why. From Benny’s on the Beach to a beloved pier, from an Olympic-size pool to modern monkey bars that kids will have to be pulled away from, this beach park has more to offer than just grains of sand.

If you go: Lake Worth Municipal Beach: 10 S. Ocean Blvd., Lake Worth; 561-533-7395; $2 per hour for parking.
