It is so hot outside that stopping for a quick scoop of ice cream is imperative. So what better place to visit than the most popular ice cream stop in the state of Florida?
Broward County’s own Wilton Creamery in Wilton Manors was listed as the most popular ice cream shop in Florida by BuzzFeed this week. The creamery features season and rotating flavors such as Pecan Praline Dulce, Sea Salt Caramel, Sweet Cinnamon, Strong Coffee, Triple Rum Raisin, Snickers Adjacent, Christopher Loves Chocolate, and “He’s Not Worth It,” which the store’s website labels as one of their favorites.
According to BuzzFeed, the ice cream stop features a number of flavors perfect for a hot summer day. “I recently had a cup of the Sweet Cinnamon topped with a scoop of the Christopher Loves Chocolate, which was fantastic — very creamy and flavorful,” Yelp user, Jeff B., posted. “Yesterday, I tried the Passion Fruit Sorbet, which was perfect for a hot humid day in Florida. There are also lots of choices for those who want or need something dairy-free or sugar-free, and they have a variety of toppings — as well as flavored whipped cream choices, too.”
It is even a hit with dogs. “They have ice cream for dogs, which my dog LOVED. They keep it super frozen, so it takes them a while to lick dry — which is nice because it gives you time to eat your ice cream,” Yelp user, Christian R., said.
West Palm Beach already features a favorite stop for ice cream after Sloan’s Ice Cream in CityPlace was named one of USA Today’s 10 Best in a recent poll.
