Free party, concert in downtown West Palm Beach kicks off Memorial Day weekend

To kick off summer and the start of Memorial Day weekend, downtown West Palm Beach will host a free concert and party at the Meyer Amphitheatre Saturday from  6 to 10 p.m.

The popular ‘Summer in Paradise’ celebration will feature a free concert by the country superstar group, Parmalee. The group will perform all their hits, including “Carolina,”Close Your Eyes” and “Already Callin’ You Mine.”

Also, performing will be Bobby McClendon and the Samantha Russell Band. During the concert, there will be unlimited craft beer sampling for $20. For adults and kids, an assortment of fun games, like Life-Size Pong, The Eliminator, Life Size Jenga, Twister and more will be on hand.
