Get in the Christmas spirit by heading to one of the world’s best spots for going “all-out” on holiday cheer — and it is close to home.

CNN compiled a list of the “9 hotels that go all-out for Christmas” with Palm Beach’s own, The Breakers, being listed among them.

According to the site, The Breakers “carries its lavish traditions right through the holiday season” with more than 160,000 lights all across the resort. The Breakers also contains a Christmas Day brunch, which is served in The Circle, for $140 for adults and $50 for children. The Christmas dinner takes place in the Ponce de Leon ballroom and is a buffet for $140 for adults and $60 for children 11 and under.

Want to book a room? It’s around $1,100 for each night. For a more in depth look at the resort, go to the Post’s comprehensive guide to the grounds. There are also several more Palm Beach County restaurants putting together exceptional Christmas Eve or Christmas Day menus.

The other top hotels that made CNN’s list for Christmas included: Hotel Sacher in Vienna, Austria; Fairmont Scottsdale Princess in Scottsdale, Ariz.; The Ritz in London; Willard InterContinental in Washington, D.C.; the Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris; The Plaza in New York City; the Waldorf Astoria in New York City; and The Roosevelt in New Orleans.
